I was born in Chicago, Illinois. My family moved to the desert town of Indio, California just East of Palm Springs, when I was a very young boy.
Luckily for me, my family brought me along with them!
When my Grandfather was a young man back in Chicago, he worked for
Al Capone the famous gangster. What this has to do with my music, I really do not know, it just that it's true and it sounds cool.
My musical influences range from The White Stripes to Audio Slave to
The Beatles to Oasis to Ludwig Von Beethoven.
Yes, that Beethoven.
The two most recent CDs, "We Are One", a modern Rock n Roll CD and "His Master's Guitar", a solo classical guitar CD, display a writer/composer's wide spectrum of musical offerings that range from original rock that has a big driving sound to intimate solo guitar instrumentals that both captivate and engage the listener.
YOU REALLY SHOULD HEAR BOTH!
I currently live in Santa Monica, California near the World Famous 3rd Street Promenade.
P.S. I almost forgot, my favorite vocalists are Chris Cornell, Paul
McCartney, Robin Zander and Andrea Bocelli. My favorite guitarists are Tom Morello and Eric Johnson for electric and Andres Segovia for acoustic.
Ciao for now,
Jamie Palumbo
